Prince Celebration 2026 is set for June 3-7 in Twin Cities

MINNEAPOLIS — Paisley Park has announced Prince Celebration 2026 for June 3-7 in Chanhassen, Minneapolis and St. Paul.
Billed as the 10th anniversary celebration after Prince’s death on April 21, 2016, the five-day event will feature live performances, panel discussions and audio and video recordings from the Purple One’s vault. Boat cruises on Lake Minnetonka are available for an extra cost.
Once again, the Prince estate has not announced names of performers and panelists, as has traditionally been the case with the initial celebration announcements. The full details will be revealed on March 25, according to a news release.
Plans call for the celebration to focus on Prince albums that are having anniversaries in 2026 — “Parade” (1986), “Emancipation (1996), “Chaos and Disorder” (1996), “The Rainbow Children” (2001) and “3121” (2006).
Last year’s celebration featured performances by Morris Day & the Time, Jesse Johnson and the Family as well as a widely praised panel discussion with Londell McMillan and Charles Spicer of Prince Legacy LLC talking about the state of the estate and plans for future projects.
Tickets, starting at $700, are on sale at Prince Celebration 2026 in Chanhassen — Checkout.
