Sophia Bush reveals One Tree Hill reboot status

Sophia Bush is being "patient" about a potential One Tree Hill reboot.
The 43-year-old actress - who played Brooke Davis in the WB/CW drama series - has issued an update about the possible development of a sequel series, admitting her co-stars have had some "amazing ideas" about where their characters might be nowadays.
When asked about the reunion's status, she told Entertainment Tonight: "You know, we have done such great work, and it's been really incredible to see the way every single person in our cast got excited about that phone call, had amazing ideas about where their characters would be, what stories they'd want to explore."
However, appearing to reference the recent bidding war for Warner Bros. Discovery involving Paramount Skydance and Netflix, Sophia added: "I would say that we're all very aware of what's happening to media right now and who media is being bought by, and I don't know that any of us are the current media conglomerate's best friends or favourite people, but I'm OK with that.
"I'm patient, if nothing else.
"That was the classiest way I can say it."
Sophia's girlfriend Ashlyn Harris added: "That was a long-winded, 'You'll have to wait and see.' "
Last July, Sophia told how she always made less money than her male co-stars on One Tree Hill.
When asked on The Burnouts podcast if she ever got a chance to negotiate her salary, Sophia said: "We weren't really given the opportunity to do that. They would always tell us we were on the verge of getting cancelled so that we wouldn't try."
However, she praised her legal team for standing up for her before season four.
She said: "They just said, 'Listen, we know none of the girls are making what the boys are making. But you cannot pay her a third of what the woman making the least amount of money on the show is making'. They really went to bat for me."
However, Sophia's pay increase only brought her salary up to "under 20 per cent" of her male co-stars.
She said: "I was finally being paid equally to the second-lowest paid woman on the cast.
"So, under 20 percent of what my male co-star was making on the show."
